How To Create A Healthy, Loving Relationship

Some people naturally assume that having a relationship will automatically lead you to happiness. This is not always the case although it can happen. All the romantic movies out there are testament to this fact with two people, having been through so much suddenly falling into each other's arms at the end of the movie having gone past all their obstacles and just living a happy life from now on.
All of this looks like a bit of a fairy tale in the grand scheme of things and quite unrealistic. Unfortunately, there are quite a few people who end up in bad relationships like the many divorces which happen each year.
The main thing that forces people to keep working on their relationship is love, which encourages them to keep fighting things. Some people just need to be with a spouse for the companionship, it is almost like an obsession. They have an intrinsic desire to be with another person and human company and they are perhaps afraid of the consequences of not being in a relationship- loneliness, sadness, rejection and possibly financial trouble.
However, it is a great thing to have a happy relationship as it can make you much happier than you were in the past and give you a fresh perspective on life.
However, what if you had a really unhappy childhood where you felt unloved and like there was no-one there to support you, with only your own doubts and other negative emotions to keep you company instead of having access to a warm and loving environment?
Firstly, many of you reading this now may think that the past cannot be changed and that there is nothing that can be done with that, you just have to live life in the moment and get a better life for yourself.
Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Our mind has the capacity to record every single second of our lives so that memories and negative habits can be left there permanently and can be quite hard to shift. They can affect our thoughts and actions in the present moment so that we are still living in the shadow of our past.
If negative events are too traumatic for a person, then it must be disconnected from their conscious mind, so that person can move on from life and just be happy.
It is actually perfectly possible to survive traumatic events and being hurt many times and actually become unhappy later on in life. Many of you might not have realized the significance of the pain you went through and not be able to grasp its influence on the present moment.
But if you were honest with yourself then you would know that something is wrong and that you would like to change it for good.
It is entirely possible to get free from your toxic emotions, negative past experiences, tormenting fears, negative thoughts and bad memories. You really can get the life of your dreams and all the negative and traumatic events will be gone, so that you are free to live life as you please and create a happy relationship.
